The thin wispy clouds high above Kyoshi Island, a shimmering mixture of golds, reds and oranges by virtue of the setting sun, sat against a slowly encroaching navy sky. Distant, heavy clouds hung ominously over the sea and drifted ever closer from the black eastern sky. Light snowfall drifted from the peaks of the three surrounding mountain peaks down into the valley below. While the lower half of Kyoshi Island was still mostly snow-free, in another couple of weeks, the whole island would turn white. Delighting in the crunch of snow beneath her boots, Suki ambled down the well-worn path from the dojo towards the village of Izutani. Despite the chill breeze, her Kyoshi uniform kept her warm. Kyoshi had made a perfect uniform; highly protective, flexible, light, and comfortable in nearly all kinds of weather. However, after a few moments of peaceful quiet, in spite of the uniform, she wrapped an arm around and hugged herself. The talk of Sokka had caught her off guard.

The door to the large meeting hall—made of wood from top to bottom, and nestled into a carved cave—was slid open. Zuko took a sharp breath of the crisp mountain air that rushed into the building. He glanced at the painting that hung above the entrance; Kyoshi sitting and flanked by what he supposed must have been the elders of the villages in her time, in an empty cave save for a long table and cushions to sit on. In contrast, this hall had old Kyoshi and Earth Kingdom artifacts, a fire-pit, and warm food prepared. He offered a quick thanks to Agni he didn't have to sit in a cold, uncomfortable cave for hours discussing politics. He looked to the people in front of him. Two pairs of footsteps slowly got further and further away from the house: her parents. The deep ocean blue beneath the airship turned to a clear, lighter blue, and finally to shore as they slowly sailed above Kyoshi Island. As the airship neared, it rose higher to clear the mountains which surrounded the large natural harbour. A cheer went up around the ring as Ami hit the mat with a thud, a groan leaving her lips and her hair coming loose of its tie, flowing from the sides of her head like a river. Maiko dusted off her hands, posed in front of her crowd of sisters, and gave a bow before turning and offering her hand to her friend. "Nice sweep," Ami said, and sat up. She rolled the shoulder she had landed on, a grimace appearing on her face, and reached with the other to take the helpful hand. My Bio

Hi! I'm Mullach21, and I've been on this site for a couple of years. I took up writing about two years ago now. So far, I have only written for Avatar: The Last Airbender. Will that change in the future? I don't know.

My main ships for ATLA would be Tokka (Because how couldn't you love those two!) and the unusual pairing of Zuki (Zuko and Suki) due to the few interesting moments in the comics. Currently, I'm writing what I would describe as a Post-Canon continuation. My series attempts to develop both the relationship of Tokka and Zuki into actual romantic relationships. It began as Repaying A Debt, a simple one-shot (That should probably be rewritten since my writing has improved.), which I did a sequel to, and then another, and another...

I believe you can jump into any of the parts of the series and read. Of course, there will be references to the earlier parts, but for the most part, each of my fics are their own stories that deal with their own things. Currently, I am writing Returning Home. Once I finish this part, I may go over some of the other parts and try to fix them up a bit. I have a couple more parts to get through, but I have a feeling I'll some day finish this!
